Julia Profit Studio

Hi, I'm Julia. I build websites for local businesses.

If you got a short email from me at this address, this page explains who I am, why I wrote, and how to stop hearing from me.

  • Speed
  • Contact forms
  • Security
  • Google

Why I wrote to you

Something on it stood out

I look at a business's website the way a customer on a phone would. When something stands out, like a home page that takes several seconds to load or a contact form that does not send, I write the owner one short email about it.

Customers look for you online

Your business is on Google Maps or social media, but there is no website. A simple site puts your services, prices, hours and a button to call or book in one place that you own, so customers who search for you can choose you.

Every email is written by me for one business. There are no bought lists, no tracking pixels and no links in the first email.

What a few seconds look like on a phone

Two phones, the same few seconds. A visitor who has to wait often leaves before the page appears.

A slow page. Still drawing after several seconds.Illustration
A fast page. Vale Auto Detailing, a demo site I built for an invented business: ready in 1.6 s on a phone, 100 on Google PageSpeed.See the Google report (opens in a new tab)

What I look at

  • Speed on a phone

How long your home page takes to show up on a phone over mobile data, measured with Google PageSpeed.

  • Calls and contact forms

Whether your phone number can be tapped to call and whether your contact form actually sends.

  • Security basics

Whether your site runs on HTTPS and sends the security headers that browsers look for.

  • How Google shows you

Your title, description and icon in search results, and whether the page can be found at all.

What happens if you reply "yes"

  1. I send a short report

What I measured on your website and how it can be fixed, or, if you have no website yet, an example of what one could look like. Free and yours to keep.

  2. You decide

Fix it yourself, pass it to whoever looks after your site, or ask me for a quote. No pressure either way.

  3. Or nothing at all

If you do not reply, I may send one or two short follow-ups. Then I stop.

Where your address came from

I only write to working US businesses, and only to an email address the business published itself: on its own website, its Google Business Profile or its official social media page. I check that the address works before I send anything.

Don't want to hear from me?

Reply "no" to my email. That is all it takes: I stop right away and I won't write again. There is no form to fill in and no link to click.

You can also write to me at the email or postal address below.

Questions

Is this a mass email?

No. I write each email myself, to one business, about something I noticed on its website or its listing. I send only a small number a day.

I do not have a website. Why did you write to me?

I found your business on Google Maps or on social media and saw that it has no website. I wrote to show what a simple site could do for you. If that is not for you, reply "no" and I will not write again.

Do you track whether I opened your email?

No. My emails have no tracking pixels, and the first one has no links at all.

Who is Julia?

I run Julia Profit Studio, a small studio that builds fast, secure websites for local businesses across the US. You can see the work on the main website, juliaprofitstudio.com.

Is the report really free?

Yes. It costs nothing and does not commit you to anything.

How do I stop your emails?

Reply "no" to my email, or write to julia.web@getjuliaprofit.com. I stop right away and I will not write again.
